Hackathon for the climate

On Friday 17 March 2023, CICERO, IxDA Oslo & Oda gathered invited designers, developers and creatives to help tackle the climate crisis.

This was a a creative dugnad to increase climate emission literacy about food in Norway.

CICERO has done amazing work researching what climate friendly food means for Norway. Unfortunately, few in Norway had a clear idea of what climate friendly food is.

This is where the creative community in Oslo, came together to find new ways forward.

How did it work?

This was a hands-on hackathon, with the goal of developing and visualising different concepts on how to spread information about climate friendly food in Norway.

Workshop contributors developed their ideas with assistance and feedback from top climate scientists and researchers in Norway.

All the concepts and ideas produced at the hackathon will will be open-sourced, available for anyone who wishes to use them.
